Spatial research, design, and practice for a just socio-ecological transition.
Critical Earth works where land, climate, and society meet. Across urban, rural, and territorial contexts, we address the pressures of climate change, resource depletion, and ecological degradation together with the demands of social and ecological justice. Combining spatial research, design, and long-term engagement in specific places, we work with scientific communities, public institutions, practitioners, and local communities to develop responses that are analytically rigorous and grounded in the realities of the territories they serve. Critical Earth is a non-profit association based in Zurich.
